Preventive Care

Our providers are focused on helping patients identify risk factors for cardiovascular diseases and prevent the development of serious conditions.

Interventional Care

Our doctors provide non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic procedures such as electrocardiography (ECG or EKG), stress testing, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, vascular imaging, as well as hospital-based cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and stenting that can be used for interventional care. All of this means we give patients access to interventional cardiology techniques from some of the most talented physicians in the area.

We regret to announce that Drs. Obiora Anusionwu, Saif Ibrahim, Daniel Ong, Prem Pillay, and Maria Viqar are departing from Southwest Cardiac Associates, Dallas Medical Physician Group.  Their last days will be Monday, April 24, 2023.  

Medical records will remain with Southwest Cardiac Associates, Dallas Medical Physician Group and will be available for your continued care.  All records are kept confidential, and a copy can be released to you for a copying fee or transferred to another physician of your choice without a fee.  To obtain a copy of your medical records please fax the attached request to 1-800-833-5935. We have other physicians here at Southwest Cardiac Associates and we will be happy to continue providing your care. If you chose not to stay with Southwest Cardiac Associates, your insurance company or the local medical society can suggest other physicians in your area that are accepting new patients.
