Monica Juarez-Gonzalez, D.O.

About Monica

1. Favorite food: Seafood, salmon, ice cream, and chocolate
2. Favorite color: Royal blue
3. Favorite animal: Dolphin
4. Favorite hobbies: Traveling, spending time with my family, making time for self-growth and self-care, and making photobooks
5. If I could buy anything, I would buy early retirement so I could travel the world and do missionary work or be a doctor without borders.
6. If I could go anywhere, I would go visit every country in the world.
7. An interesting thing about me is that I'm the first licensed physician in my family.
8. I became a doctor because as a young child, I witnessed my grandfather be a local “curandero” for the “pueblo.” He used herbs and manipulation to help others. I saw what a positive impact he had on his people and saw how self-rewarding it was to serve others.
9. I chose Family Medicine because as a primary care provider, I get the pleasure of treating a wide array of ages and many different types of illnesses across all age groups. I particularly enjoy forming long-lasting relationships with people. Not only do you I get to treat the whole family, but they become like my own family. The greatest joy comes from serving and helping those in need.
