About Daniel

Daniel S. Ong, MD, is an interventional cardiologist specializing in general adult cardiology, coronary artery disease, peripheral artery disease, and structural heart disease. He performs percutaneous revascularization procedures for the coronary and peripheral arteries, percutaneous closure of atrial septal defects (ASD) and patent foramen ovale (PFO), and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR).

Dr. Ong completed his undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University (2005), medical school at Duke University School of Medicine (2009), internal medicine internship and residency at Duke University Medical Center (2012), general cardiology fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital (2015), and fellowships in both interventional cardiology and peripheral vascular/structural cardiology at Scripps Clinic (2017).

Dr. Ong is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology.
